- Ulrike Stehr, a Mamma Mia! fan from Hamburg, had a wonderful idea. When Stage Entertainment announced the end for Mamma Mia! in Hamburg
in the beginning of this year, she spontaneously decided to give away her 21 years old acoustic guitar. She made up her mind to
let it sign by all Mamma Mia! performers from Hamburg and auction it off in favour of the children's hospice Sternenbrücke.
In the meantime all Hamburg cast members (including the artistic and musical directors) have signed the guitar.
The value of this guitar was further increased by the autographs of Frida and Björn, who were enthusiastic about the idea
and signed the guitar on October 21 in Berlin. You will find more details in our next issue. We will inform you as
soon as Ulrike knows when and where the guitar will be auctioned.

May 8, 2007
- The Mamma Mia! Premiere in Essen was a huge success. The enthusiasm and the applause were even greater than in
Hamburg and Stuttgart, one of the reasons might have been that there were no real German celebrity stars present,
who usually tend to behave more reserved at such premieres.
After giving some interviews for TV and press, Björn happily arrived at the Colosseum Theatre at about 4:40 PM.
He gave autographs and posed for the photographers on the blue carpet. Deckchairs, bars etc. were set up in front of the theatre.
40 tons of white sand provided a Mediterranean summer atmosphere. Björn sat down in one of the deckchairs
for the photographers.
The first standing ovations already took place when Björn took his seat in the theatre next to his daughter Emma. The show
was enthusiastically celebrated by the audience at the end - when Björn finally came on stage, he got even more
applause than the cast. Björn thanked the cast for the performance and said:
"I was here in the Grugahalle with ABBA 30 years ago - and now I'm here again. With the same hits!"
You will find further information and interviews with Björn plus exclusive photos in No. 49!

unreleased song written for ABBA!
Benny told the reporter that he began writing the song "Crush On You" with Björn in 1979 but it was

Agnetha arrived as a surprise guest, which happened almost unexpectedly and was hardly noticed by anyone!
Agnetha
left the hall before the break and also at the end of act 2, when Björn and Benny went on stage. Agnetha looked
great, laughing and having a good time.
